On the first day of his work as Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti together with the government cabinet paid homage to the Memorial Complex "Adem Jashari" in Prekaz. After the homage, Kurti said that together with the ministers they paid homage to the place of sacrifice and union. Prime Minister Kurti told the media that three generations of the Jashari family were killed by Serbian forces, and that their heroic fall raised the Albanian people to their feet, gave impetus to the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and awakened the international conscience.  Kurti said that the blood of the fallen is never lost and that they go to Prekaz to understand where they come from and to know even better where to go.
