It is a difficult situation for the economy and businesses as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, as citizens were hit hard by the pandemic. This was said by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi in an interview for KosovaPress, emphasizing that the pandemic had a big impact on businesses and economic development in the Republic of Kosovo. Although the state still does not have official figures for the number of those citizens who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, Minister Krasniqi claims that the pandemic has affected the reduction of employment in businesses, but according to him, 30 thousand people did not lose their jobs as it has been reported from unions and the business community.
