The 29th General Assembly of the Alliance of News Agencies in the Balkans and Southeast Europe (ABNA-SEE) is taking place for the first time in its history in Pristina. The new secretary general was also elected on Saturday morning. The proposal of the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATSH), Branka Gabriela Vojvodic from the Croatian news agency HINA received the majority of votes taking over the important duty in ABNA-SE. Also, at today's meeting, it was decided that the next Assembly, the 30th in a row, will be held in Bulgaria under the auspices of the BTA news agency. On this occasion, according to the statute of ABNA-SE, the presidency passes to the agency KosovaPress, as host of this year's Assembly, marking another important moment in the history of the first and largest Kosovar agency, but also in the country.
