Revenues from Kosovo Customs have increased by over 10 percent in the beginning of this year. 123 million euros is the total of taxes collected by customs during the first month of the year and in mid-February. Customs say there is a reduction in smuggling of goods. However, according to them, the most common cases are attempts to smuggle medical drugs and carbonated beverages. Kosovo Customs spokesman, Adriatik Stavileci says for KosovaPress that the total revenues are higher than the previous year. According to him, the economy has started to function, so consumption and imports have increased. During the interview for KosovaPress, he emphasizes that the most frequent cases of smuggling are with medical drugs and carbonated drinks.
