Five deaths and 297 new cases with Covid-19
The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 2,667 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 297 cases resulted positive. According to the institute, within 24 hours 5 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 2 cases (81, 53 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (79 years old), Rahovec 1 case (80 years old) and Suhareka 1 case (57 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 65,065 out of 274,160 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, whil the total number of deaths is 1,553.During the last 24 hours, 311 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 56,655 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,857.
