​COVID-19, Germany and WHO donate over 2 million euros to Kosovo

The World Health Organization (WHO) in cooperation with the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany have donated to the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo medical equipment and products worth over 2 million euros. The Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj thanked the German state for this aid to the Kosovar health and added that Kosovo has managed the situation well with COVID-19. German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde stated that his country will continue to assist Kosovo in fighting the pandemic. He also showed what this donation contains, adding that the virus continues to be a threat to everyone. Meanwhile, the official for emergency at the World Health Organization, Isme Humolli said that Kosovo is in the last phase of preparations for vaccination against COVID-19, while, the acting director of the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo, Valbon Krasniqi said that such donations are the best help given to the citizens of Kosovo.
