Two people who were engaged as commissioners in the last elections on suspicion of vote rigging and bribery are serving a 30-day detention measure. Regardless of whether they are found guilty or not, they will not be able to engage in the capacity of commissioners or other CEC staff in other election processes. This was announced for KosovaPress by the spokesman of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, who said that in all cases when the CEC notices that the election process is violated by the commissioners, then it sends their names to the State Prosecutor and said that they will not be allowed to be engaged again in other elections as commissioners.
