The Ministry of Internal Affairs has received information that citizens who have been provided with temporary license plates are being threatened by hitherto unidentified persons. A press release states that the Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly condemns these threats against citizens who have been provided with temporary signs according to the decision of the Ministry of Interior on September 20, 2021. Such forms of threats directly affect the creation of a situation where citizens feel intimidated to live and work in their own country. These threats are unacceptable and are hindering the free movement of people and goods, the response said. The Ministry of Internal Affairs notifies all citizens that the threat is a criminal offense and these and other forms of threats will be investigated by the Kosovo Police and measures will be taken according to law.
