Incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti today held a virtual meeting with the business community in the country, informing them in detail about the new antiCOVID-19 measures, which are expected to be approved by the Government and enter into force on December 23, 2020. The business community offered support for the new antiCOVID-19 measures and insisted that the Assembly not be dissolved without approving the 2021 budget. The incumbent Prime Minister said that he is in constant communication with the parliamentary groups and that he is maximally committed so the current composition of the Assembly can approve the budget for next year, as well as some international agreements related to the budget. Hoti and representatives of the business community agreed that the budget is a precondition for the creation of the new package and the implementation of measures for economic recovery, respectively support for businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
