The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 1,003 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 270 cases have resulted positive. According to the institute, within 24 hours, 7 cases of death with SARS CoV-2 positive were reported. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 3 cases (77, 77, 71 years old), Gjilan 1 case (64 years old), Kamenica 1 case (84 years old), Klina 1 case (86 years old), Novoberde 1 case (74 years old). The total number of positive cases is 50,405 out of 178,390 people suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,305. During the last 24 hours, 478 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 39,134 cases, while the number of active cases is 9,966.
