8 deaths and 181 positive cases with COVID-19
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the method RT-PCR, were tested a total of 1,002 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 181 cases have resulted positive. Within 24 hours 8 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Peja 2 cases (80, 78 years old), Drenas 1 case (67 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (79 years old), Istog 1 case (62 years old), Mitrovica 1 case (80 years old), Prizren 1 case (72 years old) and Rahovec 1 case (83 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 50,801 out of 180,404 people suspected of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths 1,317. In the last 24 hours, 407 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 39,969 cases, while the number of active cases is 9,515.
