5 deaths and 321 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Kosovo in the last 24 hours. This has been announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,648 samples taken from the UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which resulted in 321 positive cases. Within 24 hours, 5 deaths have been reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Mitrovica 1 case (86 years old), Prishtina 1 case (44 years old), Prizren 1 case (72 years old), Rahovec 1 case (70 years old), Vushtrri 1 case (76 years old). The total number of positive cases is 53,264 out of 193,944 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,368.
