AAK proposes a 30% salary increase, Tahiri: The government has lied to 80,000 public officials
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has stated that the Government of Kosovo has lied to over 80,000 public officials by not including the Draft Law on salaries in the 2023 budget. The head of the Parliamentary Group of the AAK, Besnik Tahiri, has said that within of the Draft Law on the budget will address an amendment to raise salaries up to 30% for public officials.
Tahiri said that the Kurti Government has
committed one of the biggest frauds and, according to him, a blow to the public
service.
In a press conference, he said that the AAK
parliamentary group will present an amendment to this budget, which according
to him is directly related to the need for a linear salary increase for public
officials.
