Zero casualties and 66 new cases of COVID-19

The epidemiological situation with COVID-19 is stable with a tendency to decline in the coming weeks, as a result of implementing the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health. During the last two weeks we have a significant decrease in the number of cases, by 44%. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the method RT-PCR, were tested a total of 503 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 66 cases have resulted positive. There were no reported deaths with SARS CoV-2 in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases is 15,208 out of 63,110 people suspected of SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 615. During the last 24 hours, 141 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 12,815 cases, while the number of active cases is 1,778. Positive cases are from: Prishtina municipality 22 cases, Gjilan municipality 8 cases, Deçan municipality 7 cases, Ferizaj municipality 5 cases, Podujevo municipality 5 cases, Fushe Kosova municipality 3 cases, Kamenica municipality 3 cases, Peja municipality 3 cases, Gjakova municipality 2 cases, Suhareka municipality 2 cases, and with one case are the municipalities of Drenas, Istog, Klina, Kllokot, Rahovec and Vushtrri.
