Waste management continues to be a challenge for institutions in Kosovo, where their collection, transportation and disposal is done without any classification. This is the main conclusion of the audit report on the use of "Collection, treatment and disposal of commercial waste", which was discussed today in the Committee for Oversight of Public Finances.

The subject of the audit were the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, the Regional Waste Company "Pastrimi" and "Pastërtia", the Municipality of Ferizaj, Fushe Kosovo, and the Landfill Management Company in Kosovo. All these institutions, according to the audit report, have failed to create conditions for waste separation and treatment...
