The Vetëvendosje MP, Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni, asks the European Union to take punitive measures against Serbia after the indictment against 45 suspects for the September 24 terrorist attack in Banjska.

According to her, also the continuous threats of the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, towards Kosovo are being made because of the tolerance of the Western allies. Kryeziu-Hyseni, who is also the chairperson of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs, emphasizes that if today Vucic declares Kosovo "territory under occupation", concrete actions by the EU are needed, since such a thing is also their failure.

The majority MP told KosovaPress that certain individuals in the European Union have tended not to take punitive measures against Serbia, despite the organization of terrorist attacks in Kosovo and the continuous creation of tensions in the north.

According to her, due to the tolerance of the EU, Vucic has increased the dose of threats against Kosovo.

The VV MP deputy considers that the threats against Kosovo are being made because Vucic has lost control in the north and that the institutions have extended sovereignty and legality in that part.

Speaking about the opening of the Iber bridge, she says that there is still the readiness of the government to undertake such an action, but due to the specifics, this issue should also be discussed at the level of security institutions.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has warned that he will take "serious measures" towards Kosovo, where he is expected to reveal them today in a press conference. /E.Zeqiri/
