US official Derek Chollet welcomes Kurti's decision to accept the EU proposal
Derek Chollet, the adviser of the US Department of State has welcomed the decision of the Government of Kosovo to accept the EU's proposal for the normalization of relations with Serbia through the Dialogue Facilitated by the EU.
The American official said that he spoke on the phone with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti regarding this decision of the Government of Kosovo and has stated that now, according to him, we need the implementation of this proposal to ensure, as he expressed, important benefits for both countries, reports KosovaPress.
"I spoke with PM Albin Kurti today. We welcome Kosovo's decision to accept the EU proposal for normalized relations with Serbia through the EU-Facilitated Dialogue. Now we need implementation to secure significant benefits to both countries", Chollet wrote.
