The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo has decided to suspend the strike. The decision was made in an extraordinary conference attended by representatives of member unions. In this conference, it was said that the decision was taken with the votes of the majority of the membership for the sake of students and parents and that the Government of Kosovo should not take this as a victory but reflect to restore the social dialogue.

The head of the Strike Council, Rrahman Jasharaj, said that the unions do not give up on their demands and it should be clear that it is only a question of suspension and not the end of the strike. He said that it is not good to resume the strike in January but meet the requirements...
