The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Hysen Durmishi, says that they are waiting for the draft report on the stability of the Iber Bridge to be published during the day. For KosovaPress, he says that the bridge is stable, however, he adds that they are waiting for the evaluation that is being done in a scientific way. Durmishi did not provide further details about the steps that will be taken after the publication of the report, in case it will be positive. Traffic experts say that there is no reason for the Iber Bridge to be closed to traffic. According to them, the bridge has not been subjected to heavy traffic loads for a long time, so they do not expect a negative result from the tests that have been done.

The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Hysen Durmishi, tells KosovaPress that the report is expected to be published today during the day.

Asked when the Iber Bridge will be opened if the report is positive, Durmishi did not comment on such a thing.

The traffic expert, Bekim Ahmeti, does not expect there to be problems in the technical and professional aspect of the bridge.

According to him, the tests should have been done before the decision to open the Iber Bridge was made.

Also the traffic engineer, Visar Baxhuku, does not expect the report to be negative regarding the stability of the Iber Bridge.

According to him, every bridge will be open and serve people regardless of political discussions.

In recent days, measurements and tests have been done with heavy equipment, and the walls of the bridge over the Iber river have also been painted.

Otherwise, today the media have reported that the European Union plans to put the "status" of the Iber Bridge in Mitrovica on the agenda of the next meeting in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. /Sh. Pajaziti/
