Kosovo has faced a difficult period with rising prices, with inflation reaching record levels in recent years.

According to statistics from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, inflation peaked at 11.6 percent in 2022, an alarming increase compared to previous rates, which included 4.3 percent in 2007, followed by 9.3 percent in 2008, and also 7.3 per percent in 2011, reports KosovaPress.

However, there was a decline in 2023 in which, according to the aforementioned institution, the average annual inflation rate in the previous year was 4.9 percent.
