There is an increase in consumer prices in February

The total harmonized index of consumer prices is higher at an average of 0.7% in February 2021, compared to the same month last year, this was announced by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics.

The report on Consumer Prices for February 2021, states that this is due to the increase in consumer prices in the COICOP subgroups: bread and cereals (2.6%), meat (0.4%), milk, cheese and eggs (3.6%), oils and fats (8.6%), water, non-alcoholic beverages, fruit and vegetable juices (0.7%), alcoholic beverages (2.9%), tobacco (4.4%), clothing (1.5%), solid fuels, firewood, pellets, etc. (3%), household appliances (3.3%), pharmaceutical products (3.9%), transport services (3.5%) "increase of air transport ticket prices", telephone and fax services (20.3%), audio-visual, photographic and information processing equipment (2.3%), hotel services (0.9%), personal care (1.8%), financial services (4.2%), with a combined impact of these subgroups of 1.9 percent on the HICP.
