The verification and confiscation of property, Haxhiu: We have seen ridiculous sentences, the Bureau is the solution
The Ministry of Justice on Friday, proceeded with one of the draft laws for the establishment of the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscation of Unjustifiable Assets, which will initially receive the green light of the government cabinet. With the Bureau, the burden of justifying the property falls on the official and not as it has been so far on the prosecution. The same mechanism will not deal with all citizens, but only with officials and former officials of institutions.
