In the "1 October" hall, the University World Handball Championship concluded on Sunday, where "Hasan Prishtina" University was declared the champion in the men's category, while "KNSU" National University from South Korea was declared the champion in the women's category. At the end of the championship, the dean of the Faculty of Education and Sports, Musa Selimi, said that he is very grateful that FISU entrusted Kosovo with the organization of this championship. "I want to thank FISU for the opportunity given and I hope that you will have the opportunity to repeat this soon. Special thanks to the Government of Kosovo for the entire organization. I also thank the Kosovo Handball Federation for giving us the opportunity to do this and all our partners who helped us from day one," said Selimi.
