The prosecution demands 30 days of detention for the suspect who attacked Mrika Nikqi
The Prosecutor's
Office of Peja has made a request for a 30-day detention measure for
25-year-old F.B., who is suspected of sexually assaulting mountaineer Mrika
Nikqi on Tuesday evening in Peja. The spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office
of Peja, Shkodran Nikçi, told KosovaPress that today the hearing of the
preliminary procedure related to the review of this request is expected to be
held at the Basic Court in Peja.

Nikqi published a video on the social network Facebook on Friday afternoon
where she said she was the victim of a sexual assault by a person with the
initials F.B., on Tuesday at 20:50 in one of the main streets of the city of
Peja.
The spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of Peja, Shkodran Nikçi, said that two state prosecutors have been engaged in this case and have been in coordination with the Kosovo Police until the identification and arrest of the suspect...
