The petition for the dismissal of Erden Atiq is submitted, here's how many citizens signed
The initiative group of citizens for the
dismissal of the mayor in the north of Mitrovica, Erden Atiq, submitted the
petition to the chairman of the Municipal Assembly of this municipality on
Monday, and there are 508 more signatures collected than the minimum required.
Nexhat Uglanin, the chairman of the Municipal
Assembly of North Mitrovica, made this known to KosovaPress.
According to him, the number of citizens who have signed the petition about the dismissal of the mayor of this municipality is 4 thousand 148 of the 3 thousand 640 that was necessary.
"Yes, I received yesterday afternoon the petition with signatures from the initiating group. There are 508 signatures more than what was necessary. Now the legal deadline to submit the petition to the CEC is three days and I will do it on Thursday, and they will do the evaluation", Uglanin told KosovaPress. /A. Damati/
