This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the UCCK, Shpend Fazliu.

"The information office of the UCCK confirms that despite the maximum efforts by the staff of the Emergency Clinic, an injured person in Mitrovica did not manage to survive, due to the wounds he had and his serious health condition", said Fazliu.

Whereas, the news about the shooting and wounding of a person has been confirmed for KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the police in Mitrovica, Avni Zahiti.

The witnesses of the case told KosovaPress that they saw little of the event, except that they heard gunshots, because as they said, everything happened very quickly.

Reshit Musaj, who works in the bakery very close to the place where the incident happened, told KosovaPress that he heard several shots from the firearm and that everything happened very quickly, while bullet casings also penetrated the bar where he works.

On the other hand, Gëzim Berisha, acting medical director at the 'Sami Haxhibeqiri' hospital in Mitrovica, stated that the patient was admitted with gunshot wounds, two chest wounds.

According to him, the patient's condition is serious and after treatment and after taking the necessary measures, he was taken to UCCK.
