In the meeting of the Municipal Assembly of Deçan, it was discussed about the expenses of the municipal budget as well as the one-year report on the expenses of the mayor. In the absence of the mayor of this municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, the director for Budget and Finance, Dafina Cacaj, explained the annual municipal expenses.

She said that all municipal expenses are invoiced and justified. Meanwhile, regarding the expenses of the mayor, Cacaj emphasized that the mayor of Deçan is the only one who spends little in his official duties.

Cacaj said that the municipality of Deçan spends over 90% of its budget, but that the entire budget is spent on official needs.

Meanwhile, the director of the Municipal Directorate of Education, Besnik Hulaj emphasized that three public nurseries for children will be built in the three villages of Deçan.

He said that the nurseries will have enough capacity for the children of Deçan and that they will have a low payment cost.

Hulaj said that they will recruit nurseries that are under private management in public nurseries.

Further, the director of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Rifat Stojkaj said that 34 cows were brought to the farmers of Deçan.

Stojkaj emphasized that Deçan is the first in terms of milk quality.

The Director of Agriculture, Stojkaj, said that investments will also be made in infrastructure. He indicated that investments will be made in nine villages with irrigation canals.
