The Ministry of Health is led by an acting minister; Kurti's commission is considered unproductive

The Executive Commission for Health, established at the proposal of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who also heads this commission, is considered unproductive. Since September 14, when it was established, until now it has held only 5 meetings, whereas after the resignation of Rifat Latifi as Minister of Health, this commission held only one meeting.

The opposition and the experts of this sector demand that in this situation when the most vital health institutions are led by an acting director the commission should meet more often to address the problems faced by health professionals and patients.

The MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Shemsedin Dreshaj said that in such a situation where the health sector has never been worse, such a commission is useless. According to him, even from the few meetings that were held, no decision was made that could improve the situation of health services in the country...
