Political resentment and lack of consensus accompanied the political parties in Kosovo this year as well. The political spectrum in the country did not find agreement and unity on any of the topics of national interest. The dialogue with Serbia, European integration and the election of the president were the topics that further polarized political parties in Kosovo. However, just before the dissolution of the seventh legislature, the parliamentary parties unanimously approved the budget for 2021. Among the reasons that have worsened the relations between the parties are considered to be the breakdown of cooperation and the frequent overthrow of governments.

The exclusive director of the Group for Legal and Political Studies, Arberesha Loxha, told KosovaPress that the political polarization came more from the lack of the numbers that the Hoti government had, and then this was manifested in the lack of institutional stability.
