The meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will take place today in Brussels.

Kurti said yesterday that he has confirmed his participation to see in what situation Kosovo is in the framework of the dialogue with Serbia.

He emphasized that the basic agreement of February 27 of last year with the integral part, the annex of implementation by Ohrid of March 18 normalized the relations between Kosovo and Serbia, with de-facto recognition.

According to him, the bilateral and trilateral meeting will be in function of recapitulating the dialogue process and seeing what are the ideas for moving forward.

"I have confirmed my participation. There has not been a high-level meeting since September last year and this June marks three years of high-level dialogue that I am participating in as prime minister. I believe that, among other things, tomorrow's meeting will also be bilateral the trilateral will also be in function of recapitulating this three-year process, to see what state we are in and what are the ideas on how we should be able to move forward. The basic agreement of February 27 of last year with the integral part of the implementation annex from Ohrid on March 18, they normalized the relations between Kosovo and Serbia, with de-facto recognition, at least de-facto in the center because before we even implemented the agreement, we had a systematic violation of it that culminated in the letter of the former prime minister Bernabiq, where Serbia withdrew from the basic agreement and that is where all our problems come from, that is, from non-compliance, from the violation of the basic agreement", said Kurti.

The head of the executive has underlined that yesterday it has been nine months since the police sergeant, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed, and as he said, nine months since "the chief criminal of the terrorist paramilitaries, Milan Radojicic, is free".

He added that there have been constant escalations and that all of these have their address in Belgrade.

"Yesterday it has been nine months since the police sergeant, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed, which means that it has been nine months since the main criminal of the terrorist paramilitaries, Milan Radojicic, is free. Meanwhile, tomorrow will be one year since the release of the three police officers who were kidnapped near the border with Serbia, but still in the territory of Kosovo, after being held hostage for 12 days. We have constantly had tensions and sometimes even escalations, all of which have an address, because official Belgrade is responsible and guilty", said Kurti.
