KFOR mission commander, Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia, visited the Regional Command-Eastern Soldiers of the Turkish Liaison Monitoring Team (LMT) in Gjilan.

General Ristuccia was informed about the ongoing activities and discussed with them the general situation in the area.

"KFOR's LMTs are the main source of information on the situation on the ground, allowing KFOR to better understand the situation and focus their efforts. These teams are fundamental tools for creating and maintaining permanent ties and trust between KFOR and local authorities, leaders, and international organizations at the municipal level," the KFOR announcement states.
