The government is asked that the association be discussed only within the framework of the final agreement with Serbia
After the publication of a draft for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, the Government of Kosovo is being asked to discuss this issue only within the framework of the final agreement with Serbia. The government, the opposition and political experts emphasize that any proposal or draft that deals with the expansion of the powers of the association should not be taken into account.
The Vetëvendosje Movement MP, Haki Abazi,
tells KosovaPress that there can be an association, but not with executive
powers.
He emphasizes that in no way should it be
allowed to create institutional mechanisms that sabotage the state from within.
