The Government of Kosovo has not indicated whether they will take a decision on any further postponement of the deadline for illegal license plates and their registration in the RKS. Meanwhile, the European Union says that Kosovo has the right to gradually remove KM license plates, but it is important to give enough time for the implementation of this plan.

KosovaPress has been waiting two days for an answer from the executive on the implementation of the decision on illegal license plates and the possibility of another two-month extension of the deadline for their registration in the RKS, but it has received no answer.

On the other hand, a spokesperson of the European Commission told KosovaPress that the implementation of the decision on illegal license plates should be implemented in close consultation with the affected citizens, and in accordance with good European practices...
