The EU, the World Bank and the Government invest in energy efficiency

As a result of work done to improve energy efficiency in 70 public buildings in all Kosovo municipalities through a project jointly funded by the European Union, World Bank, and Kosovo Government and implemented through the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund (KEEF), more than 1,200 students of the “Shaban Shala” primary school and their teachers now enjoy better learning and working conditions.

The EU Office in Kosovo, in a statement, states that the investment in the school’s new thermal insulation, energy-efficient doors, windows, and lighting, and a new and efficient heating system will reduce its energy consumption by more than 70% and lower greenhouse gas emissions...
