The Committee on Legislation has approved in principle the Draft Law on notary, which will be processed for the session of the Assembly. At the meeting of this commission, where only members of Vetëvendosje participated, the changes made within this draft law were presented. The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said that the condition will be the bar exam. She also emphasized that the notary exam will be held on January 27, for which she promised that there will be transparency.

Haxhiu said that after the entry into force of the basic law, the difficulties related to various issues of the notary system have been identified in practice.

She added that strengthening and increasing the efficiency of the disciplinary system of notaries through the establishment of an independent disciplinary commission is also foreseen. Haxhiu said that the composition of this commission will be two judges and a notary.

The Minister of Justice, Haxhiu said that the notary exam will be held on January 27, where she promised transparency.

MP of Vetëvendosje, Hydajet Hyseni emphasized that there is abuse of interns.

Regarding the abuse of interns, Minister Haxhiu said that there is no information, but she affirmed that there is discrimination against women.

The Commission for Legislation has also approved the report on the implementation of the Law on the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. /Sh. Pajaziti
