The Committee on Human Rights promises support to associations of women raped during the war
The Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions had a meeting today with representatives of associations for the protection of the rights of women raped during the war. This meeting was considered only informative, meanwhile it was said that the committee will pay special attention to this category in this legislature. There were about nine associations in the committee to closely inform the MPs about their demands. Whereas, after their presentation, the meeting of the committee continued without the presence of the media.
The chairwoman of the committee, Duda Balje, said that during the work of the committee, they will push forward the requests of the associations for the protection of the rights of women who were raped during the war.
