The CEC suspends the December 18 and 25 elections

The Central Election Commission has decided to suspend all activities planned earlier for the preparation of the elections on December 18 and 25, after the decision of President Vjosa Osmani to postpone the elections and set a new date for holding the elections.

Also, the CEC agreed on the drafting of a new operational plan for the organization of the elections which are scheduled to be held on April 23, 2023.

Initially, the Chief Executive Officer of the CEC Secretariat, Burim Ahmetaj, gave details about the preparations that had started regarding the elections in four municipalities, but the CEC Secretariat, based on the decision of the President of Kosovo, for postponing and setting a new date for those choices, he recommends the suspension of the elections...
