The CEC approves over 233 thousand euro budget for the organization of voting on April 21 in the northern municipalities
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has approved the budget for the organization of the voting process for or against the removal of the mayors from office in the municipalities of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, Zveçan and North Mitrovica, which will be held on April 21, 2024.
The planned budget for the organization of this process is in the amount of 233 thousand 204 euros.
The CEC has also made a decision to shorten the duration of the terms and approved the Plan of Activities for or against the removal of the mayors from the function in the four northern municipalities.
The member of Vetëvendosje, Alban Krasniqi, has announced that they have handled a number of documents. He also requested that the new deadlines be approved.
Whereas Ilir Gashi, member of the CEC from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, said that he cannot vote in favor without seeing the documents.
According to the decision of the CEC, the main deadlines for the organization of this process refer to the deadline of 44 days.
