The CDBK signs a memorandum of cooperation with Luxembourg Development

In order to train and develop a quality workforce ready for work, to meet the needs of businesses, promote lifelong learning in order to keep pace with changes in the global labor market, with the support of the Ministry of Education , Science, Technology and Innovation of Kosovo towards the modernization of the formal education system through the reform of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Luxembourg Development Corporation Agency - Project to Support VET in Kosovo. The the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo and Luxembourg Development, through this memorandum of cooperation and understanding, agree to establish a partnership in order to provide a framework within which the parties will discuss the terms and conditions of cooperation and determine the content of the programs, joint ventures in education, training and support for the employment of VET students in manufacturing companies, members of the CDBK. The Chairman of the Board of the CDBK, Skënder Krasniqi, on the occasion of signing the memorandum of cooperation stressed that it is very important to work together to achieve concrete results. Especially based on the fact that we currently have a mismatch between the needs of the market and the skilled workforce. On the other hand, Daniele Cristian Passalacqua, Chief Technical Advisor of the project stressed that they are very open for cooperation and welcome any initiative taken by the CDBK in order to implement this cooperation. The latter thanked the CDBK for expressing its readiness for mutual cooperation.
