The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK) this year also organized a reception for media representatives in Kosovo, in order to thank them for the genuine and correct cooperation they have had during this year.

The Chairman of the CDBK Board, Skënder Krasniqi, in a keynote speech presented the achievements and work of the Chamber during this year. He stressed that, during this year, the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo was active on issues that concern the private sector, and especially during the pandemic period. The CDBK has conducted meetings and visits, talks and signing of memoranda of cooperation, has conducted various conferences and research, with the sole purpose of raising the voice of the private sector, in order to create facilities in the economic and legal field, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for doing business in the country, it is said in a press release. Krasniqi thanked the journalists for the close cooperation and said that it would be impossible to raise the voice and prioritize the economic development in Kosovo without proper cooperation with the media. Whereas, Hamdi Malushaj, member of the CDBK Board, has presented the problems of the private sector, asking the media to focus on addressing economic issues. "Our strong ongoing lobbying and persistence, despite the challenges and often the reluctance of institutions, has led to many issues getting epilogue, and many businesses solved their problems", he said. During this year, the Chamber of Doing Business has continuously organized activities, conferences, has given statements and participated in interviews in the media. In this way the media have been a key factor in conveying the message to businesses, government and citizens. The CDBK wishes that 2022 be a year of closer cooperation with the media sector, being committed to creating the best and most favorable conditions for doing business in Kosovo.
