The MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo will return to work next week. After a break of more than a month, the people's elected officials will begin the autumn session of the legislature on September 12. The same are expected to have a busy agenda during this calendar year. A number of draft laws are expected to be a priority for the MPs, starting with the approval of the budget for the next year, the draft law on salaries and public officials, the minimum salary, the bureau for the confiscation of illegal assets, and vetting in justice. Meanwhile, observers of the work of the Assembly demand greater parliamentary control over the Government of Kosovo.
