The Albanians of the Valley will be able to buy property in Kosovo
The Government of Kosovo has approved the Draft Law on the amendment of the Law on Property Rights of Foreign Nationals, which exempts the Albanians of the Presheva Valley from the ban on purchasing property in Kosovo. In today's meeting, the executive approved several initiatives for international agreements, among them the project for photovoltaic solar energy in KEK. In addition, two candidates, Batisha Ibrahimi and Meriton Zika, were proposed to the Assembly of Kosovo as members of the Board of the Public Procurement Review Body (PRB).
The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said that with the addition-amendment of the law, it will be possible for Albanians from the Valley to buy property in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, said that the agreement with the European Investment Bank has a value of 107 million euros, of which 62 million will be loans, 32 million grand, meanwhile, 13 million euros investment from KEK.
The government has also appointed the board of the regional irrigation company Drini i Bardhe in Peja, where Arjeta Zeka has been appointed chairman, while Ilaz Halili, Shkodran Gaxheri, Zamire Decani-Beqiri, Rina Kumonva and Besim Kajabegolli are members.
