The new academic year will not start on October 1^st for first year students, but only for students of the following years, all this because the procedure of registration of new students in the largest public University, that of Prishtina, has not yet been completed.

Although there is still no official date, the vice-rector for teaching and student issues at the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", Hysen Bytyqi, says that the classes for first year students may start on October 15.
