Tahiri: The rise in electricity prices is the biggest blow to the citizens
In the extraordinary session convened by the opposition regarding the increase of electricity prices, the head of the PDK parliamentary group, Abelard Tahiti, said that the increase of electricity prices is the biggest possible blow to the households and citizens of Kosovo. MP Tahiri said that for pensioners and social categories, expensive electricity will be unaffordable.
As he added that to the 25 percent of the active unemployed population, Prime Minister Kurti is increasing the price of electricity by 100 percent. Also, MP Tahiri added that to the 54 percent of the population who have problems with the cost of housing, Kuri is increasing the price of electricity by 100 percent.
