Stano has said in a press conference that the measures against Kosovo are continuing and that they will be lifted when the EU member countries decide, and that such a thing does not belong to the Kosovo politicians.
The measures imposed by the EU on Kosovo included the temporary suspension of SAA working groups, the non-invitation of Kosovo to high-level meetings and the suspension of bilateral visits, the suspension of the programming of funds for Kosovo, which were expected to be delivered through Investment Framework in the Western Balkans and IPA 2024 (Pre-Accession Instruments).
The EU spokesperson also spoke about the agreement on missing persons during the war in Kosovo, for which he said that there is no progress and that it is up to the parties to take action in this direction.Otherwise, around 1,600 people are considered missing since the end of the war in Kosovo. The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, declares that Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe will pave the way for justice. According to her, the priority of the government remains the lawsuit for genocide from Serbia. She adds that they have had several meetings with experts profiled in crimes related to genocide.
