The former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Fatmir Sopi, who is testifying at the trial against Salih Mustafa in The Hague, said that the KLA fought for the liberation of the country. He recounted the offensive of April 7 and 18, and said that at that time in the villages of Gollak were thousands of people who had been forcibly displaced by Serb forces from Prishtina, Podujeva and other places of Kosovo. He called the events during the offensive horrific and said that Serbian forces had burned alive children, the elderly and women who were sheltered in houses.
