The propaganda made by the Russian and Serbian media in Kosovo is aimed at damaging the sovereignty of Kosovo, blocking the integration of Kosovo Serbs and damaging the image of Kosovo. In addition, it is aimed at discrediting high-ranking personalities and the continuous maintenance of inter-ethnic tension.

This was said at the conference "Serbian and Russian media propaganda in Kosovo", organized by the Institute for Hybrid Warfare Studies "Octopus", while the research on Serbian and Russian media's portrayal of Kosovo was presented.

The director of the "Octopus" Institute, Agim Musliu, while presenting the analysis carried out, mentioned media such as KosovoOnline, Sputnik and RT, which he said have the most influence on the breakdown of the Serbian and Albanian communities or even on the attack on the central institutions.

He emphasized that they have identified two hypotheses which are related to Russian propaganda to attack and bring disunity in Europe. Meanwhile, he points out that the other hypothesis has proven that "Serbian propaganda always insists on its agenda to show that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are dysfunctional".

Meanwhile, the senior researcher at Octopus, Taulant Elshani, said that the electronic medium "Kosovo Online" turns out to be a media center of systematic propaganda against the Republic of Kosovo, according to him with the aim of harming the state interests of Kosovo.

Elshani emphasized that Kosovo Online posts fake news every day, articles with content that is highly offensive to Albanians and other communities. He added that this medium campaigns against visa liberalism through various methods, while adding that it contains articles about spreading fear, creating a climate of insecurity and other issues to the detriment of Kosovo.

The authors of the research "Serbian and Russian media propaganda in Kosovo", mentioned one of the fake news that was published in the medium "Kosovo Online", on the day of the terrorist attack on September 24.

According to them, this day, this medium presents an audio material of the Kosova Police and claims that it says "It does not matter if he dies", which is presented as police negligence towards an injured Serb. They add that this Serbian medium has no facts, parts of the audio material or anything else that supports its claim that a wounded Serb is being neglected in that discussion.

In the research of Octopus Institute, "Serbian and Russian media propaganda in Kosovo", it is stated that Russia uses the media to sponsor its power and footprints in the field of media to achieve its goals related to the glorification, and influence of destabilizing elements of its politics. /Z.
