The former president of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu, has said that Serbia, through its policy of violence, is promoting destabilization in Kosovo and the entire region.
Sejdiu said that the Western Balkans still does not live in complete peace and clear vision.
"Our region does not live in complete peace and clear vision. Therefore it is vital that our work for peace and stability is considered unfinished and requires facing the issues that need commitment and useful solutions. The region must live in peace and stability in order not to present security turbulence and nationalist elements who want to maintain power even with violence. In this context, what draws our attention is the policy of violence in Kosovo and the region. Remember the aggression of Serbian paramilitaries in Banjska, last year", said Sejdiu, at the conference of the Universal Peace Federation, where "Peace, stability and demographic transition in the Western Balkans" is being discussed.
