At the "Gjergj Fishta" primary school in Pristina on Sunday, the final preparations have been made before the start of classes tomorrow. The director of this school, Supije Zhitija, said that they are ready to welcome the students.

Zhitija expressed her happiness that the lesson will start from tomorrow. She also thanked the parents for their patience and support during the time the schools were on strike.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) through a post on the Facebook social network has announced to all students, teachers and parents that tomorrow the lessons will start at all levels of pre-university education.

MESTI says that it had made the necessary preparations for the new school year to start on September 1, when school was officially supposed to start, but that this did not happen due to the strike organized by The Teacher’s Union, which started on the 25 August.

The Ministry of Education has called on everyone without distinction for cooperation and mobilization to cover the losses caused during the strike.
