The incumbent President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani is paying a two-day visit to Brussels. Among the meetings she is holding, Osmani also met with the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli. The latter after the meeting expressed his happiness that Kosovo remains on the path of reform. He wrote in a Twitter post that the fight against crime and corruption will bring Kosovo closer to the European Union. “Thank you VjosaOsmaniMP for this interesting exchange! Glad to see that Kosovo remains on the path of reform, which will lead to a more prosperous future. Fighting crime and corruption will bring you closer to the EU and improve the lives of all citizens. The EU is here to support," he wrote.
